Today I thought I would post my newest creation which is this shadow box, that showcases one of my favorite musicals which is Singin In The Rain. ( I was totally born in the wrong time period, but aren't we all).

Supplies
- a shadow box ( I got mine at the dollar tree)
- paint ( In whatever colors you like)
- some type of picture ( I use one from an old calender)
- mod podge
- paint brush
- water
- decorated buttons, glitter, etc.
Step 1: Paint your box

Step 2: Then I wanted to distress my box. So I took a gold/brown paint and water it down with some water ( picture 1), then I painted it onto the box then wiped it off with a paper towel. Picture 2 is what my box looked like after the distressing.
Step 3: Once your box is dry, measure the inside of the box and cut out your picture.
Step 4: Use Mod Podge and glue your picture inside your box, then let it dry.
Step 5: This step is optional, I thought my box needed something more so I added a decorated bow in the top right corner. But you could add more of just leave your box plain.
Step 6: Hang it on your wall or in this case my cork board, for all to see! Have a lovely day :)
