Step 1:Cut your pumpkin in half, I use a craft knife to cut mine in half but you could use a sharp knife, plastic knife or if you really wanted to get into it a saw. It will really depend on how your pumpkin is made, luckily my pumpkin was styrofoam so it was easy to cut ( I got my pumpkin from Big Lots). You will really have to experiment to see what works best for you.  (picture 1)

Step 2:Trace around your pumpkin onto your felt and cut it out (picture 1). Then hot glue the felt to the back of your pumpkin (picture 2).

Step 3: Now hot glue your close pin to the back of your pumpkin ( I painted mine close pen brown but your don't have to).

Then grab a picture and put your pumpkin picture holder to use! Now you could stop here..... but you know me I always add a little more.

I took a cork board circle ( that you can get in a pack of four at any craft store) and covered it with scrapbooking paper. Then hot glued my pumpkin to the circle and made a this little base for my picture holder.
