Step 1: Take your tissue paper and tare it up into small pieces, then glue the pieces onto your ice cream container (picture 1). It may take many layers to cover your container complete, but when your done you should have something like picture 2.
Step 2: Then take your scrapbooking paper and ribbon and decorate your little container. All I did was glue some "happy easter" scrapbooking paper to my conatiner then I glue another type of scrapbooking paper on top. To finsh it off I hot glued a little bow to the front.
Step 3: Now take your craft knife and make two slits on each side of your container.
Step 4: Now cut a strip of scrapbooking paper and with your hole punch, punch two holes on each end of your strip of paper. Then take your brad and feed it through the hole in your strip of paper and the silt in your container.
Then your done, add some fake grass and some candy and your little basket is completed.

DeleteWhat an adorable and inexpensive idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great and easy idea! We have "traditional" Easter baskets for my family - my mom handmade them when I was really young, but this would be so fun for a party and for my 11 year old sister!
ReplyDeleteGreat DIY :)
