Adventures In Crochet (4)

Hello Everyone,
Here is this month's addition of Adventures In Crochet. Last month I show you guys how I made a small blanket, so this month I decided to make crochet flowers.

I'll be honest it took me a while to find a tutorial video that I liked because some people were going to fast, their camera angles were all wacky or they just didn't make any sense. But in the end I found an 8 minute video from YouTube, that really made sense to me ( cause I'm a beginner).

I know their are many different ways to make crochet flowers, so even thought I found the right tutorial for me it may not be right for you ( but keep looking ).

So below I linked the video for you guys, so you could give it a try (because after you make one, you want to make like 500 more)!

Below is my many attempts at making flowers, what I love about the small flowers is that you can turn them into pins, headbands and so much more.

Have any of you crochet flower before? If so, what have you done with them?

  1. Very interesting! - I used to crochet as a child but I never made a flower - they are so cute! Stopping by from Blogging Buddies.

  2. Not sure why or how I have not come across your blog before... just added your button to my favourite blogs page... I love your blog. :)

    1. Awww, Thanks So Much! I am now following you on Pinterest!

I'm glad you like my blog and thanks so much for stopping by :)

  3. Thanks so much for following! I'm now following you back via GFC :)

  4. You can never have enough flowers anywhere. I guess I'm from the hippy generation. It would be great if a one had a granny who would pass on the art of making crocheted flowers.
A few months ago I made a little felt cell phone pouch for my mom's Tracfone lg500g qwerty keyboard phone ($20, $7/mnth for service) and sewed on some of those crocheted flowers from the art supply store Michael's. They also sell small crocheted squares and other crocheted thingies if you don't crochet yourself.

I love comments, so thank you for taking the time to leave one. :)
