Lately I been experimenting with the idea of combing painting and embroidering together.
In my stash of crafty goodies, I had this small embroidery hoop that I never used. So a few days ago I decided to give my idea a try. With some paint, I painted the mint chocolate chip ice cream cone and then embroidered the word ''summer'' off to the side.
Over all I loved how it turned out. I think it would be cool to have a different embroidery hoop for each season.
What you think? Do you like the combo?
