Today I have a fun announcement/mini review/ DIY post for you!
As you all know, I'm part of Xyron's Creative Design Team which allows me to get the inside scoop on all things Xyron! Today I thought it would be fun to talk about a brand new product from Xyron that will definitely make your ''craft life'' much more enjoyable. That product being the brand new Xyron Creative Station Lite!
Now if you're not familiar with Xyron's Creative Stations in general, they are basically machines which allow you to add adhesive, magnets or laminates to your projects. As of right now, Xyron makes a Creative Station which holds both 9 inch and 5 inch Creative Station cartridges. This machine is great for those bigger projects but sometimes you just want to make something little like a card. That is where the Creative Station Lite comes into play.
Basically, the Creative Station Lite is everything that you love about the bigger Creative Station but just in a smaller footprint! The new Creative Station Lite holds both 5 inch and 3 inch Creative Station cartridges which make it great for those littler projects! It also has the same sleek design as the original Creative Station, which I personally like.
The New Xyron Creative Station Lite will be making its World Launch on HSN March 16th. So if you want to learn more about the machine and see a live demo of the machine being used, I would definitely check it out!
To give you an idea of what the Creative Station Lite can do, I came up with a simple project that allows you to turn those cool typographic like coloring book pages, into fun wall art!
♥ ♥ ♥
Canvas
Coloring Book Page
Paint
Foam
Brush
Ribbon
Scissors
When your ribbon has been added to your canvas, you're ready to hang up your new piece of wall art!
Wasn't that fun?
With all the different types of fun coloring book pages out there, the possibilities for this project are really endless! Also, I went with a simple design but you could get as detailed as you want. With that being said, if you're not starting out with a coloring book page that you already colored, I would only color in those portions that you will be using. That way it saves you time and doesn't run down your supplies (cause we all know that those markers don't last forever)!
Since I made the announcement and showed you the DIY, I'm quickly going to give you my review on the Creative Station Lite.
In a nut shell, I love this machine! Simply because it's easy to use, there is no mess with the adhesive and it takes up hardly any space. As a crafter, those are the things that I look for in products, so this machine delivers on all those levels!
As always to follow along with all the Xyron fun, don't forget to like them on Facebook and to follow their Pinterest page for more project inspiration.
So what do you think? Are you excited for this new Xyron Creative Station Lite?
