Last week, I posted a roundup of my favorite 2017 free printable calendars. In that post, I mentioned that I would be following it up with a DIY that involves reusing your calendar from last year! So today, I going to be showing you how to turn last year's calendar into cute magnets!
Now you may be saying to yourself: ''Calendar magnets? That makes no sense!'' However, I can assure you that it does!
When you look on the back of any calendar, there are usually pictures of what is going to be in the actual calendar. Well, these small photos are the perfect size for magnets! If your mind isn't already blown, think about making 12 magnets (since there are 12 pictures on the back of a calendar).
Also, you may have noticed that this post is a 3 Step DIY! That means I will be showing you how to create your own calendar magnets in only 3 steps.
So, if you want to learn how to turn your old calendar into cute little magnets, then keep reading below!
Calendar
Scissors
Step 1: Tear off the backing of your calendar and cut out the pictures you want to turn into magnets.
Step 2: Grab your calendar pictures and slide them through your Xyron 9'' Creative Station with the laminate/magnet cartridge.
Step 3: Cut around your calendar pictures to get rid of the extra magnet.
Once you are done cutting, you're then ready to use your magnets!

I just love how these magnets turned out and I love being able to see my favorite images from an old calendar all year around.
On a side note, making your own magnets from an old calendar can be a great gift idea. For example, if you're giving someone a small housewarming gift, including these magnets would be a nice touch to the whole gift. With that being said, these magnets would also be nice to make if yout just wanted to makeover your fridge too (lol)!
So what do you think? Do you like these calendar magnets?
