Color Book Wall Art

Hello Everyone,
Today I have a fun wall art project for all those coloring books you may have lying around. If you don't have any coloring books you could use an old piece of artwork like a painting or drawing for this project.

Lets Get Crafty!

Supplies
Wooden Plaque
Paint
Paintbrush
Mod Podge
Scissors
Coloring Book Page
Pencil (not pictured)

Step 1: Paint your wooden plaque.

Step 2: With your pencil, draw a circle around a portion of your coloring page. You can trace around your wooden plaque or use something a little smaller like a bowl to trace around. Once your tracing is done, cut out your circle.

Step 3: Now apply some Mod Podge to the back of your coloring page and glue it down to your wooden plaque.

Make sure you don't cover the front of the picture with Mod Podge just because your picture could smear depending on what type of crayons or markers you used. So I would test a small portion of your picture before you add any glue to the front.

I lighting adding glue to only the edges of the picture (on the front) because I used some markers when coloring my picture. If you really wanted a nice finish you could also use some clear spray acrylic.

Once your picture is dry, glue a picture hook to the back and your done!

When I got done with this project I felt like it needed something more, so I took some embroidery thread and glue it around the coloring page. I really liked how it turned out! It kinda of makes coloring more grown up (lol).

What do you think?
